Children's Endeavour Trust Admission Procedure

Nursery Admissions

We have 26 places for both our morning and afternoon Nursery sessions during the school year. Applications for places are considered each term, with priority being given to the oldest children. To apply for a place in our nursery, please request an application form from the School Office or you can download one from the link below. Please complete the form and return it to school. The school will need to see the birth certificate of the child and this information will be recorded on the application form. We have three intakes per year and children can join the nursery in the term after they turn three (September, January and April).

Reception Admissions

The County Council is responsible for September admissions to the school. Full details of the County Council's admission policy and procedures are set out in the “Admissions to schools in Suffolk 2019/2020" booklet.

For admission to the school during the next academic year, an application form or on-line application must be received by Mid January of the same year.  For more details please follow the link at the bottom of this page.

Please note because of a change of law in 2008, a place at your catchment school cannot be guaranteed

In-Year Transfers

To apply for a place in Year 1 to Year 6 or for a Reception place from October onwards, please contact the School on 01473 729544 or via email: frontoffice@brokehall.suffolk.sch.uk

Appeals

As part of the funding agreements, The Children’s Endeavour Trust is required to comply with the School Admissions Appeals Code. All Admission appeals should be referred to Suffolk County Council School Admissions Appeals team, and appeal hearings will be organised where appropriate. All letters refusing admission will give details of how to appeal the decision.  For full details on how to Appeal, including the Appeals timetable, please click on the link below.
