Home & School Association

Broke Hall Home & School Association (HSA) is run entirely by volunteers to raise money to improve the experience for children at the school.

We host a number of events throughout the year to raise money. Our biggest events are our Summer and Christmas Fayres. We have also recently run a quiz, bingo night and the ever popular ice-pop Friday’s.

Christmas Raffle

The HSA held the Raffle draw at 11am on the 11th Dec 2020. The list of prize winners (ticket numbers only) can be seen here.

The prize winners have been alerted and are collecting their prizes today. Prizes will be kept until the end of next week if they cannot be collected today.

The School and the HSA wish to thank the following people for donating prizes:

Barrett & Coe Photography, Essex

Dion Gallichan Photography, Cambridgeshire
School's Out
I Sew Crazy
Kay Souter Florist
Sweet Hive Sweet Shop
Mizu Noodle Bar
And, of course, all of you!
Thank you so much for all the kind donations.

Annual General Meeting 2020

Unfortunately this year we are unable to hold our Face to Face AGM due to current COVID Restrictions.  Therefore in order for as many people as possible to see just what the HSA is about and to view of 2019/20 financial accounts we have been allowed to post them to the School Website.

Please click here to see the accounts for 2019-20.

In order for us to be compliant with the Charity Commission requirements we would ask all parents / guardians to complete an online form to confirm that they have viewed and agree the accounts and are happy with the Committee elections. This form will be sent to all parents / guardians via the schools Arbor system.

The proposal for Committee Member 2020/21 is:

Chairperson Emma Lee Continue in role
Secretary Julie Jay Continue in role
Treasurer Claire Duckett Continue in role
Events Organiser Michelle Brough Continue in role, until replacement is found

Having asked for Volunteers to take on the position of Deputy Chair, Anneka Burch has kindly offered to take on this role and therefore we propose that this kind offer is accepted.

Usually at the AGM we ask for volunteers to join us.  The roles are many and varied and even the smallest offer of support is welcomed.  Please contact us at

We continue to fundraise despite the current times and look forward to getting some events up and running very soon.  Watch this space!
